Vietnam Tour and An Accident
French tourist escapes, as a boat sinks in a Vietnam Tour. The name of the group is Hanoi who were travelling in a boat which sank during a Vietnam tour on Halong Bay. This Vietnam tour killed 12 people boarded in this boat. After that there was one more accident, where no injuries were reported but involved around 28 touristers.
This vietnam tour had a survival visitor, named Josette Farret who is 65 years old. She said that the condition of the boat was not good and it also had some technical problems. Dang Huy Hau, government vice-president in Quang Ninh province, the boat collapsed after a collision with another boat delivering water, but Farret insisted there was "absolutely no collision".
Hau said that there will be an investigation which would be done after the boat is salvaged. He also added that all who boarded the tourist vessel were transferred to another boat before it completely sank.
There is one more vietnam tour accident where a boat sank in Halong Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage which is about 160 kilometres from Hanoi, in which 11 tourists and the guide as well died in February.
The licence of the local travel agency that organised the February Vietnam tour was cancelled and guide was also unregistered.
